We continued heading north to NYC on route 95. The rain surging down on our little car was as relentless as the huge trucks passing us at 90 mph. We were happy to pull off the road near Trenton, NJ to follow a smaller scenic road along the Delaware River. We carried on to Stockton through beautiful farm country and luckily for Mow and the tiny Honda Civic, the rain began to subside.

We pulled into one of the luxurious houses in the area, which came fully equipped with many carpets and few acres of grass. To give Suck and Mow a little energy before diving in, Wendy very generously made a few delicious submarine sandwiches for the team. With full stomachÕs, Mow tackled the lawn with his usual stamina and Suck finished up the inside carpets.

Wesley played the piano for us and afterwards the family posed with their certificates. As the boys prepared for mud football practice we said our good-byes. We headed towards the new New York City originally filled with excitement but now faced with an anxious awareness of a different skyline and an altered sense of reality.
