Such bleak times and yet you are out there touching America and the beautiful people who call it home. Take care of yourselves. You are being so very generous to your audience and now they are friends. See you when you get back. ROCK out... Frankly only you two sweeties could pull this off... GO...GO...GO...

Dear Suck and Mow, I now know you are both well, sucking and mowing relentlessly. We are all still in a state of shock. What has happened is beyond words. The French press is now saying that there were plans to attack the Paris Embassy. Not a pleasant thought. I have a personal e-mail address: katjag@caramail.com. I will continue to follow your trip. Keep up your spirits. Lots of love, Dusty PS. I will not ask that you come and suck my place, don't want you taking planes these days. Maybe later. PSS. The French audience would like more close ups.

Had a great time viewing your trip...looks like it's going great and I can only image the stories that aren't being told. Got back to SF a few days ago, safe and sound. Man what a journey. I'll tell you more later. Just a note, I'm viewing your site in explorer and on some pages the photos overlap the text so you can't read the full comentary. Doesn't detract from the overall concept though. I'm going to add the site to artSparx, feature it and pull images off of your site. Is that OK? I'll just reuse content and images to trace your steps and direct viewers to your site. Look forward to viewing more and seeing you both soon I hope. I'll keep you up dated of my progress. If I can do anything for you on this side let me know...

We have been having serious trouble with our lawn here in Brentwood California. Big dogs in the neighborhood continue to leave their markings in serious "Baby Ruth" form. Does your lawn mower have a catcher Bag big enough to help assist us in our clean up efforts? We would not want any debris or wreckage splattering our windows. Do you think you can help? There could be a job for suck as well I have three children that need a good cleaning. I miss you guys. The website is awesome. I love the tribute for Dad. I hope you bring something back from there. I wish I could have been there with you. Please be safe and call us soon. I love you bunches.

Sincerely, Grumpy and Grumpette Brentwood, California 9rescueourlawn.com

An amazing project I thought you should all be aware of. I found it particularly poignant in wake of the events of the past week, the unity that all people, within or own boarders and beyond, have shown towards our nation and one another. A project entitled 'Suck and Mow', begins with the simple, mundane daily act of lawn mowing and vacuuming, we've all done it, we all can relate. These simple actions effectively highlight a commonality in human nature that we all understand. These acts are independent of race or religion, we all do them. The web site is a documentary of 2 individuals, artists, that move day by day through the country. What started as an interesting adventure of using simple, common place acts to break down human barriers culminates in the emergence of the human spirit. Because of the potency of last weeks events we discover that the journey becomes more than that the act of lawn mowing and vacuuming. These acts ironically become symbols of American culture, as much so as apple pie, and the American people across the country open their doors to a surreal invitation of having their homes vacuumed and their lawns mowed by strangers. It's a powerful statement that humanity is intact. Please visit and follow the growing adventures of Suck and Mow at http://www.suckandmow.com And forward this to everyone you know who might need a little inspiration and some laughter. It's a surreal event, but these are surreal days... Thanks and God bless Sincerely, Toby ---- Tobias Freccia

You guys have outdone yourselves again. GO SUCKANDMOW! You know that the Bissell vacuum company was started by our family? My grandmother (you know, now living in Santa Rosa) her maiden name is Bissell. Her family started the Bissell vacuum company. Who is Erby Storts, and our condolences. Keep up the good work.

Dear suck and mow, you guys are awesome.

You have inspired me with your website - as i sit and ponder and wonder how the two of you are, i know that you are fine and like i said the other day - you would shed integrative light on last weeks events. i knew the two of you would keep going and make the necessary changes along the way. the pictures are vivid and mow you look just like your dad. thank you for the call - it was good to hear your voice and of course to know that you have continued to fullfill his dreams by taking him to visit broken arrow like he asked. funny thing is, he probably made it there before you did!

wishing you both safety and fun love, mis

hey there you two. i'm going to start crying again. i've just viewed all yr stops so far on the map. i'm so proud of you, what yr doing is amazing. of course it's made more profound by the tragic events in nY and DC, as well as the personal events in your own lives, i'm really glad that you've included reflection on that. i'm comforted to know that you're both doing well and continuing with yr work - because it is important publicly and (i can only imagine how) personally. you know if you come this way you've a place to stay and perform...

much love and best wishes, bridget

Date : Thu, 20 Sep 2001 09:51:15 -0700 I MISS YOU :-)

I love the Missouri event. What wonderful experiences you are gathering, proof that the American Spirit is still alive and well. I am so PROUD of you, as I know Erb is too. WELL DONE MY LITTLE CHICKADEES !!!! Even if you do not receive public acclaim, the enrichment and lessons learned about human nature will certainly make you better and stronger, with greater insight into the human soul. God has certainly been with you and directed you along the way..... Look for and remember each detail and log them into a journal so you will never forget. God may lay upon your heart to write and illustrate a book someday and that would be your greatest outreach.. Who knows what God has in store for you after guiding you along this path. Certainly he will use it in the future to touch others through your lives and experiences. Enough preaching.... I love you, now go out and make it a "wonderful .... Blessed" Day.

Looking forward to seeing you soon. Mom
